My wife, Maria, is making me write this blog about our restaurant. Saying that it is what all the big restaurateurs are doing. That if I want to remain current and popular with the masses, I must, wait scratch that, I will write a blog about the food and happenings in the restaurant.
So here, I am typing away, trying to think of the best thing to say. Just something to say that will make people become interested in what we are cooking. Let us see, there have to be something.
I guess, let us start at the beginning.
Before I started my restaurant, I had a food truck. In which I served burritos, chips, salsa, guacamole, beans and rice, and chimichangas. After two years, I had saved enough to open a restaurant. In addition, the first thing I ever cooked at the restaurant. Aw, I remember it like it was yesterday. The first dish I ever cooked, to serve to my beloved customers, was a fully loaded we burrito. I made it so that the customers could make their own by customizing the ingredients to their pallet. For nine, ninety-nine you can get a two-pound burrito, with whatever you want, along with a side of chips and salsa. For a dollar, fifty you can add one of our fountain beverages.
This was such a big hit, everyone loved it, that it became a staple on our menu. Even as our menu has changed and altered, we have added so much more to our choices.
